How to get to Cancún Train Station?
Icon of the Cancún Train Station: Coat of arms of Cancun
Cancún in Mayan: Kaan and Kuum means ‘nest of snakes‘ or ‘pot of snakes‘. Originally a fishing village surrounded by virgin jungle and unknown beaches, it’s now the most recognized Mexican tourist destination in the world.
The municipal coat of arms of Cancun was originally designed as a tourist mark in 1973. Its intention was to reflect the essence of the city and the Mexican Caribbean: the Sun, the Beach, and the Pre-Hispanic past. It was soon embraced by the citizens as a symbol until it was institutionalized as the municipal coat of arms in 2005.
