The ride from the station costs $25.00 MXN per person, and the journey takes approximately 10 minutes, depending on your destination. If no mototaxi is available when you arrive, the station staff can call one for you.
Once you are in town, mototaxis are the primary means of transportation and the most commonly used by local residents. Rides within Maxcanú cost approximately $10.00 MXN per person, making it easy to travel between hotels, restaurants, the local market, the church, the Hermitage of the Three Crosses, and other attractions.
If you would like to visit the Oxkintok Archaeological Zone or explore nearby attractions, you can hire a mototaxi for $200.00 MXN per hour. Each vehicle comfortably accommodates up to four passengers, making it a practical and affordable option for families or small groups. The driver can wait while you visit the site and then take you back to town or continue to other nearby destinations.

In Maxcanú, there is a temple dedicated to San Miguel Archangel, built in the 17th century. One of the main attractions is the Oxkintok Archaeological Site, which is considered one of the most important settlements in northern Yucatán and possibly the oldest city in the central Puuc region.
