Quintana Roo
The Cancún Tren Maya Station is located behind the Cancún International Airport, offering a strategic location that makes it easy for travelers to access. In addition, it provides official intermodal transportation services that connect the station with key points in the city and the airport itself.
Intermodal connections are usually coordinated with the arrival and departure schedules of the Tren Maya at different destinations.

Icon of the Cancún Train Station: Coat of arms of Cancun
Cancún in Mayan: Kaan and Kuum means ‘nest of snakes‘ or ‘pot of snakes‘. Originally a fishing village surrounded by virgin jungle and unknown beaches, it’s now the most recognized Mexican tourist destination in the world.
The municipal coat of arms of Cancun began as a tourist mark in 1973, designed to reflect the essence of the city and the Mexican Caribbean: the Sun, the Beach, and the Pre-Hispanic past. Citizens quickly embraced it as a symbol, and in 2005, authorities officially adopted it as the municipal coat of arms.
